Functional Safety Manager for Automotive Electronics
Required technical skills and experience:
- University degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, software engineering, mechatronics or similar
- Expert knowledge and experience with functional safety management for software and hardware according to ISO 26262, IEC 61508 or EN 50126/EN 50128 or MISRA
- Experience with the automotive industry and with automotive electronics
- Experience in a consulting role
- Good technical writing skills
- Fluent in the German language, also technical language
- A good command of the English language
It will be considered an advantage if you also have:
- Experience with development of embedded software
- Experience with development of software for safety-related functions (e.g. SIL3)
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR, ECSS-E-ST-40C, DO-178B
- Knowledge about software process improvement, CMMI, SPICE, Automotive SPICE, ISO 9000
- Knowledge of modelling in Simulink, MATLAB, UML 2.0, SysML, SCADE
- Knowledge of the railway, space, or aerospace industry
- Experience with project- and team leadership
